Accommodation
The conference main venue is the boutique Hotel San Martin, on the edge of medieval village Smartno. The hotel is exclusively reserved for the conference, and it will accommodate a large number of the participants. The conference room is also located in the hotel.
The price for six nights, all included (except the dinner in Sistiana/Portopiccolo), is 680 euros for double occupancy rooms, and a limited number of single rooms are available at additional cost.
This price also includes several activities. One excursion will bring the participants to Bovec, on the Julian Alps, a center for rafting, canoying, hiking, biking and much more.
The second event will start with a hike along the Rilke path, a trail on the gulf of Trieste with amazing views of the coast and of the Duino Castle. The Rilke has historical interests as well, since it still preserves several observational points built during World War II. The walk will end in Sistiana, on the beach, still in time for a last swim in the sea. Dinner will follow in Sistiana or in Portopiccolo. Wine and olive oil tasting sessions will also be organized.
Sunday: Reception with dinner at Hotel San Martin, starting at 7pm.
Monday: Tour of Smartno starting at 5:30pm, followed by olive oil tasting at 6:30pm.
Dinner at Marica at 7pm.
Tuesday: Excursion to Duino and Sistiana. Dinner in Porto Piccolo.
Wednesday: Wine tasting and dinner at Stekar at 7pm.
Thursday: Excursion to Bovec with sport activities. Dinner at seafood restaurant Kotlar, Kobarid.
Friday: Conference dinner with wine tasting at Hotel San Martin at 7pm.

Other accommodation has been reserved for the workshop at the Hotel Marica, and at Stekar (prices may vary). Please always contact Hotel San Martin first in order to make a reservation.
If you have booked your own accommodation elsewhere, the price for the fees/all meals/excursions will be 400 euros
Airports serving the area are located in Venice (Marco Polo), Treviso, Trieste and Ljubljana. Shuttle service from local airports to Smartno can be booked through GOOPTI, the cost is approximately 50 euros from Venice and 35 euros from Trieste for a roundtrip.
